Add Questions to Your Mastery Item Bank

There are two ways to add questions to your Mastery Item Bank.

Automatically, while Building an Exit Ticket

Any mastery question you create on an exit ticket is automatically saved to your Mastery Item Bank

1. Create an exit ticket and add a mastery question.
2. You’ll see the Save to my Item Bank checkbox in the bottom-right corner of the mastery question, checked by default, which confirms that your question will be saved to your Mastery Item Bank as well.
   • Don’t want to save it to your Item Bank? Uncheck Save to my Item Bank before saving the ticket.

     

3. Save the exit ticket. 

Directly from the Mastery Item Bank page

1. Select Item Banks from the left-side menu to go to the Item Banks page.
2. Select the Mastery Item Bank tab. 
3. Click Create Mastery Questions in the top-right corner.

   

4. Click the Add a Question dropdown, choose a question type, and write your question.
   • You can create multiple questions at once.

     

5. Click Save Question in the top-right corner to save it to your Item Bank.

   

Search, Edit, and Manage Your Item Banks

Use the search bar and filter dropdown on the Item Bank page to find specific questions.

To edit, delete, or duplicate a question on the Item Bank page, check the box to the left of the question (or click the three dots to its right), then choose the action you want.
