Add and Edit Mastery Questions in an Exit Ticket

Mastery Questions help assess students’ mastery of class content. You can add up to 10 Mastery Questions to each Exit Ticket.

You can edit Mastery Questions at any time. However, if students have already started responding, changes may affect their answers.

Add Mastery Questions

1. On the Customize Exit Ticket page, click Add Mastery Question under the Mastery Questions heading.This will add a multiple choice question to your ticket.
   (Written Response questions coming soon!)
   

   

2. Fill out the required fields:
   • Enter the question
   • Add at least two answer options
   • To add more than four answer options, click Add Row
   • To remove an answer, click the trash can icon
     
     
3. Select the correct answer by clicking the round button next to the correct answer option. A green checkmark and outline will confirm your selection.
   
4. Shuffle Option Order is enabled by default. This randomizes answer order for each student to prevent cheating.Toggle it off if you want all students to see the same option order.
   
   
5. To remove a question, scroll to the bottom of the question and click Delete Question.
