Getting Started with Feedback Forward

OEN Teachers: Demo Exit Tickets during PD

Testing exit tickets is a great way to get comfortable before using them with students. Teachers can create a demo class, a demo student and complete an exit ticket.

Note: This process is different from using Feedback Forward with real classes, which are imported automatically from Clever and require no setup.

With Your Teacher Account

1. Sign in to Feedback Forward

2. Create a Demo Class

  • In the left-side menu, click “Classes”

  • Click “Add Class” in the top-right corner

  • Name your class (e.g., “Demo Class”) and click Next

3. Add a Demo Student

  • Add a student to the class you just created with any first and last name

  • Use a real email address for testing—add +st before the “@” to distinguish it from your teacher account

    • Examples:

      • msmith+st@lincolnhs.org

      • jlee+st@greenvilleprep.org

  • Optional: Add demo students for colleagues so they can test your Exit Ticket too

4. Create and Open an Exit Ticket

  • Create an Exit Ticket and assign it to your demo class
