Add an Academic Standard to a Mastery Question

Teachers can add academic standards to exit tickets to track student mastery over time.

To add a standard:

1. Add one or more Standard Sets to your Feedback Forward account. Standards cannot be typed or pasted directly into an exit ticket — they must come from a connected Standard Set
   
   Add a Standard Set to your Feedback Forward account.

2. When adding or editing a mastery question, start typing the standard name or any word from its description. Matching standards from your Standard Sets will appear as suggestions.
   
   

3. Click on the standard to add it to the mastery question.
   
   

4. Repeat this process to attach multiple standards to a mastery question if needed. Or, use the trash icon beside a standard to remove it from the mastery question.

Viewing Mastery by Standard

A Performance by Standard chart will be available in Feedback Forward starting in November, allowing teachers to view student mastery across all standards.
